Cooking with the Cookware+ Set

While there is no doubt the quality of this set is there, the main question to ask yourself is if you will use all of the pieces of the set to make the investment worth it. I personally feel both the core cookware set and the stainless steel sets are 100% worth the investment but my thoughts are a little bit mixed on the Cookware+ set.

As a family of 5 now, there will be A LOT of cooking in my future. We also meal prep quite a bit and make large amount of food to freeze for future meals. So for me, a these pans make sense in my kitchen! Here is a closer look at my thoughts:

6 qt Rondeau:

The one thing I love about this pot specifically is the handles. It is easy for things you start on the stove and then move to the oven. I feel like it fits really well in the oven this way, especially for larger meals over the 4.5qt sauce pan that comes in the standard set.

I’m glad to have it in my kitchen as we approach the holiday season especially – we host a lot so it’s a must to be able to cook for large groups. And now I won’t have to use multiple pans to cook the same meal!

12 qt Stock Pot:

Every kitchen absolutely needs a stock pot. I use mine several times a year for making soups, stews, broth, etc. It definitely gets more use in the winter months but it’s perfect for large batches of things we eat often.

12″ Stir Fry Pan:

I LOVE this pan so much. It’s a stir fry/wok style pan and it cooks so evenly! The quality is there. We make a lot of stir fry style meals so this pan gets a lot of mileage in my house! I love that because the pans retain heat so well you don’t have to keep the burners up high while you’re cooking. This is one of my favorite and most used pans since we got it!

2 qt Petite Cooker:

This pan is one that I think really depends on your needs. It’s SO CUTE but tragically, it is too small to fit on any of my burners properly 🙁 I think it’s perfect for smaller portions or making sauces, especially if you are a one or two person household. If we had a gas stovetop, I think it would be perfect!
